The Martini is an American classic. While today’s Martini’s are often simply vodka, shaken until it’s bitter cold, and garnished with an olive, the original prohibition Martini was mixture of with Gin and a dash of dry vermouth garnished with an olive or lemon twist.
To Make A Gin Martini:
- Martini glass chilled
- 2 oz. Gin
- Dash of Dry Vermouth
- Stir gently
- Strain with a julep strainer.
- Olive or lemon twist garnish.
