What a blast it was becoming a bartender. Everyone at American Bartenders Schoo ofl New York was professional and helpful. I wish all the other schools I graduated from had such nice people. Lisa, the job placement director, helped me out big-time with tons of great job leads. The real bar class room was awesome. It was like on the job bartender training. I’m now certified and ready to work.

Jackson, my instructor, was very animated and funny. I liked the American Bartenders School Palm Desert because it taught me the bartending basics quickly and it was fun.  I was laid off from my job after 20 years and I needed a new job skill. I like working with people and I think bartending is going to be good paying and fun.  I already had a job interview at one of the Casino’s in Palm Springs and it looks good.

I liked Joe, my instructor. He gave us traditional ways to do things, but also let us know some new tricks. I give the American Bartenders School a solid 10 out of 10. I have already recommended the school to 2 of my friends. One of them has already enrolled.

If you want to learn bartending the right way, this is place. I learned more than mixing drinks.  I thought it would be hard learning all the drinks, but it wasn’t. At the school you learn by doing like on the job training. You make the drinks over and over again. Each time you make the drinks it’s easy to pick up speed and confidence. One of my friends took the American Bartenders School course and is already working as a bartender.

I thought it would be hard because I haven’t been to school for many years.  Learning behind a real bar was like on the job training.  I liked that the school allows students to come to extra classes at no charge when they want to stay longer.
