I use a full ounce measure as one part. My whiskey preference is Jack Daniel's but rye whiskey is traditional. 3 parts Jack Daniel’s Old #7 (whiskey of your choice) ½ part dry French vermouth ½ part red French vermouth Dash of Angostura Bitters Stir and chill over several large ice cubes, strain into a classic cocktail glass.
