[..YouTube..] Woah, way off. The BeachComber made a drink like this called the Mai Tai Swizzle pre Trader Vics version but it dissappeared from his menu after a year. The real Mai Tai is: 2 oz Aged Rum (The original 17 year J Ray and Nephew Rum is no longer in production so Appletons 12 is good instead) 1/2oz orgeat1/2oz curacao1oz Lime juiceSplash of Rock Candy SyrupShaken and strained onto crushed ice

[..YouTube..] you’re correct but we don’t teach this recipe because most bars don’t stock all of these ingredients.

[..YouTube..] Finding Orgeat can be difficult but there are ways to do it. Just visit fee brothers website and order it online. Not the best orgeat in the world but by far the easiest to get, and its definetly worth it. Nothing beats a well made Mai Tai, oh and don’t forget to garnish with a sprig of mint =)

    [..YouTube..] Thanks for the information.

  5. [..YouTube..] @jtiano So you agree that Barschool doesn’t teach the right recipe… Well that seems pretty bad to me. To to mention the cheap stuff you use all along the vid ! Not to mention you don’t EVEN deem necessary to indicate the amountof juices to use..Uhum ! That looks like a F@@@ing weird bar school to me…Thumbs up for Callum18181 for spreading the proper recipe !!! A WHOLE different world of bartending…

[..YouTube..] Another know it all internet expert, that knows nothing.

[..YouTube..] How do you know? Trader Vic has been dead for many years.

  8. [..YouTube..] THERE YOU GO ! I’m quite impressed now… But I strongly advise your students to do some side research if they want to learn more (real facts, that is…).Laugh apart, just so you don’t get it wrong (once again..): I spent quite a few years behind REAL BARS, working with REAL BARTENDERS, who taught me REAL RECIPES, using HIGH QUALITY SPIRITS. How far did that get me ? At 33y, GM of a luxury resort… But I did miss out on the now world-famous BARSCHOOL you work at. So should your students…

  9. [..YouTube..] There you go ! NOW I’m impressed… I still strongly advise your students to do some side research if they want to learn more (REAL facts that is…).Laugh apart, just so you don’t get it wrong (once more…): I’m no internet expert, but in fact have worked quite some time with REAL BARTENDERS, who have taught me REAL RECIPES made with genuine HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS… How far did that get me: at 33y, GM in a luxury resort, without loosing any time in some lousy “bar school”…Have a nice day !

[..YouTube..] @jtiano Well thats just a plain stupid comment. Its rather easy you see, People write shit down! there are many quotes and recipes written down from Victor J. Bergeron. Do some research yourself to find the truth and stop being so ignorent!
